As the Enterprise Cybersecurity Operations Leader, you are the driving force behind a world class integrated cyber defense platform that protects mission critical services for the Booz Allen enterprise in support of our corporate operations and infrastructure supporting client delivery. You lead the way in defending the organization from the constant onslaught of cyber-attacks, using your expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability and threat assessment, data protection, cloud security, and automation and orchestration. You are the visionary who sets the direction and strategy for the Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) Operations team and the mentor who guides and empowers your staff to deliver excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Define and execute Booz Allen’s strategy for a highly integrated, threat informed, data driven, and risk-based cybersecurity operations and cyber fusion center.
Lead and mentor the ECS Operations team fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Act as Incident Commander for major incidents and guide the team in IR investigations and response activities.
Manage scope, schedule, and resource allocation for cyber security operations projects and activities, and actively drives objectives to completion in partnership with other members of the ECS leadership team.

7+ years of experience leading a cybersecurity team
Experience with leading cybersecurity investigations and conducting incident response activities
Experience with one or more security operation functions, such as vulnerability assessments, data loss protection, and cyber threat intelligence
Experience with automation and orchestration tools and techniques
Ability to collaborate with the professional confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive management across the enterprise
Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closure
Ability to take unpopular positions when necessary, influence others to support these decisions, and maintain trust and credibility
Ability to strategically manage technical resources against key performance indicators
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience working in the cyber industry in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with leading an organization guided by cyber threat intelligence
Experience in participating in industry information sharing and analysis center organizations
Experience with offensive or defensive cyber capabilities
Experience leading successful cross-functional efforts across cyber teams
Experience in developing board, C-level, and senior management reporting and updates
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $153,400.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
